The path to your front door is a well-traveled one, and of course you want it to look awesome! My clients did a fantastic job renovating their old farm house, so I knew the gardens had to show off the path to the front door with a mix of perennials that had interest from April to November. Contrasting foliage, bulbs, tough low maintenance perennials and some annuals to fill in the gaps gave the pathway a wild, meadow-like look. Spring flowering bulbs supplied the earliest seasonal color, the garden was a buzz with bees, butterflies and hummingbirds in the height of summer, and the contrasting foliage kept things interesting long after the fall frost.
